Hi, my name is James Choe and I am a medical student at Washington State University. Before medical school, I worked with grassroots organizations to spearhead mobile clinic initiatives that tackled barriers to care for marginalized communities. This work fostered my interest in health equity and health policy, which is integral to my research in dermatology. My research interests also include antibiotic stewardship, acne, the psychosocial impact of dermatologic sequelae, and medical dermatology. In my free time, I love photographing wildlife, skiing, writing poetry, and hiking with my dog.

Hi, I’m Ali Shields, an MD student at Drexel University College of Medicine. My current research interests include patient-reported outcomes, acne, and medical education. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, trying new restaurants, and rooting for all Pittsburgh sports teams!
